Role Description

We are looking for a skilled
Intermediate/Senior Python/Django Developer
to join our onsite team in
Sialkot
. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and backend services using Python and Django. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, writing clean and maintainable code, implementing best practices, and ensuring the performance, quality, and scalability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services using
    Python and Django
    .
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code while following industry best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues promptly.
  • Contribute to agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in
    Python
    and the
    Django
    framework.
  • Hands-on experience in building and integrating
    RESTful APIs
    .
  • Familiarity with database systems such as
    PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
    .
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git/GitHub or GitLab).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, onsite team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience
    as a Python/Django developer for Intermediate level,
    4+ years
    for Senior level.
