About the Role

We're looking for a
skilled Python/Django Developer
with a strong grasp of
financial workflows, accounting principles, and data integrity
to join our growing remote team.

You'll be working on an innovative
financial and budgeting platform
designed for creative professionals, helping us refine, extend, and optimize backend systems that power real-world financial operations.

This role is ideal for someone who's hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about building clean, reliable, and scalable backend solutions — while collaborating with a talented international team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain backend modules using
    Django 4+
    and
    PostgreSQL
    .
  • Implement and enhance logic for
    financial workflows
    including expenses, budgets, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure
    data accuracy
    ,
    validation
    , and
    system reliability
    across all operational features.
  • Collaborate with
    design
    ,
    QA
    , and
    product teams
    to deliver well-tested, user-friendly results.
  • Integrate with
    S3-compatible storage systems
    (AWS S3, MinIO) and deploy on
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    .
  • Participate in
    daily stand-ups
    ,
    weekly progress reviews
    , and
    team syncs
    .
  • Maintain clear
    documentation
    , follow
    version control best practices
    , and contribute to continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4
    years of experience
    in
    Python/Django (v4+)
    development.
  • Strong knowledge of
    PostgreSQL
    , including data modeling for financial or transactional systems.
  • Understanding of
    accounting and bookkeeping concepts
    , such as:
  • Chart of accounts
  • Expense and income categorization
  • Cash flow and balance management
  • VAT/tax calculations and reconciliations
  • Experience building or integrating
    invoicing, reporting, or budgeting systems
    .
  • Proven focus on
    accuracy
    ,
    validation
    , and
    data integrity
    .
  • Excellent
    English communication skills
    (written and verbal).

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with

    (basic to intermediate).
  • Familiarity with
    AWS S3 / MinIO
    and
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    .
  • Previous experience in
    financial SaaS
    ,
    ERP
    , or
    accounting platforms
    .
  • Understanding of
    multi-user collaboration tools

  • Experience in the
