Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our Upwork team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in writing compelling proposals, understanding client requirements, and securing projects on Upwork. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong understanding of our services and industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Write customized and persuasive proposals to secure projects.
  • Communicate with potential clients to understand their requirements and address their queries.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities to meet our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand project details and convey them effectively in proposals.
  • Track and report on bid success rates and other key metrics.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in bidding and freelancing platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Upwork bidder or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Upwork's platform and bidding process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling proposals.
  • Familiarity with the services we offer and the ability to convey their value to potential clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mandatory:

  • Experience in Graphic Design, Web Design, & other creative fields.
