You will be a part of a company of super-achievers who work together to bring forth the evolution of decentralized finance. The ideal candidate has prior DeFi protocol development experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, smart contracts, and DeFi primitives. We would love someone with a deep understanding of blockchain architecture, strong protocol design skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, DeFi-focused environment.

What you'll do

• Build, configure, and maintain our AWS infrastructure
• Manage GitLab security, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning
• Develop and maintain backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption
• Working with the larger DevOps team at Gala to accomplish company-wide goals, as well as maintaining direct team contributions.
• Implement and manage security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services
• Monitor infrastructure and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
• 5+ years of AWS security, including IAM, Secrets Manager, EC2, and Lambda.
• Experience managing GitLab security, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning
• Professional experience with application-level security
• Knowledge of backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption
• Knowledge and experience with CDK, Kubernetes, Gitlab cicd,  C#, NodeJs, and Python
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator

Note: This role is onsite at our Lahore office (not remote), where you'll be part of a collaborative and fast-growing team. We work the night shift to align with U.S. hours, giving you the unique opportunity to partner directly with international colleagues, contribute to global projects, and grow in an environment that's both dynamic and supportive.
