Marketing & Business Development Specialist (Pharma, Biotech, and Nutraceuticals)

Nuvex Biotech is an emerging R&D-driven company specializing in innovative formulation development, analytical method development, and biotech solutions for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, and life sciences startups. With a growing lab infrastructure (HPLC, UV-Vis, nanoparticle systems, diffusion studies), we support companies and research partners in creating fast, reliable, and effective product innovations.
We are not a traditional QC outsourcing lab. Instead, we focus on R&D innovation, preclinical support, and enabling the development of next-generation products.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing & Business Development Specialist who can help establish and grow Nuvex Biotech's brand presence, connect with the right clients, and create long-term business opportunities. This role requires an individual who can effectively blend scientific understanding with strategic marketing and B2B networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a brand positioning strategy highlighting Nuvex Biotech's unique R&D capabilities.
- Create marketing materials (capability sheets, case studies, white papers, LinkedIn posts, presentations).
- Manage LinkedIn presence and build professional connections with pharmaceuticals, nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, and biotech decision-makers.
- Conduct targeted outreach to potential clients (both local and international) via email, LinkedIn, and industry networks.
- Support business development efforts: preparing proposals, pitching to clients, attending industry events/conferences.
- Collaborate with scientific staff to translate technical services into client-focused value propositions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related fields (a mix of science + marketing is ideal).
- 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, pharma/biotech, nutraceuticals, or scientific services.
- Strong skills in scientific/technical communication (ability to simplify complex lab capabilities into clear client messages).
- Knowledge of LinkedIn marketing, email campaigns, and B2B lead generation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently with a small, fast-moving team.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical business development.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments (nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, or early-stage biotech).
- Graphic design or content creation skills for professional marketing visuals.
We Are NOT Looking For
- Generic digital marketers focused only on Google/Facebook/Instagram ads or consumer campaigns.
- Freelancers who only handle one-off design tasks without long-term strategic input.
- Candidates without interest or ability to understand scientific/technical content.
- Those expecting a large marketing team structure — this is a hands-on, multifaceted role.
