Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and talented Social Sciences Intern with a keen interest in educational technology and content development. This internship will allow you to apply your academic background in social sciences to the development of interactive educational tools and assessments. As an ITEM Developer Intern, you will assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating social sciences-related educational content, tests, and tools to improve student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test interactive social sciences educational content.
• Assist in creating assessments, quizzes, and testing tools focused on social sciences topics.
• Participate in content reviews, ensuring educational materials meet academic standards.
• Contribute to the development of a data-driven approach for measuring learning outcomes and performance.
• Assist in creating and refining rubrics for evaluating social sciences assessments.
• Research and apply social sciences theories and principles to develop educational frameworks.
• Help in the creation of mock tests and simulated real-world scenarios related to social sciences education.
• Participate in team meetings to provide input on the educational technology development process.
• Assist in analyzing data from tests and assessments to help improve learning outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in social sciences and EdTech innovations to incorporate into projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
• Strong interest in educational technology and innovative learning methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of social sciences concepts and theories.
• Ability to apply social science frameworks to practical learning tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic understanding of data analysis.
• Basic understanding of testing methodologies and educational assessments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with instructional design and course development.
• Knowledge of assessment creation tools or learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience or interest in research and data analysis for educational outcomes.
