Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in database development and optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in writing complex queries, designing database structures, and ensuring data accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries to support application and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with software developers, analysts, and business teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions.
  • Perform query performance tuning and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Participate in database design, normalization, and documentation.
  • Assist in database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an SQL Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent).
  • Experience in database design, normalization, and indexing.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
  • Strong performance tuning and query optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, reporting tools, or BI platforms (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, etc. is a plus).
  • Understanding of data security and backup/recovery concepts.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
