Job Summary:

We are seeking multiple experienced Internal Audit Staff with (5 to 8 yrs) of relevant experience in the banking and financial services sector for manager, senior associate and associate level. The role involves assisting in internal audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, evaluating internal controls, and supporting risk management initiatives in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, executing, and reporting internal audits of banking/financial institutions operations, financial services, and regulatory compliance.

Conduct audits of internal processes including credit operations, treasury, risk management, compliance, financial reporting AML/CFT, and other functions.

Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.

Identify process gaps, control deficiencies, and regulatory non-compliance issues.

Prepare audit work papers, document findings, and assist in drafting clear, actionable audit reports.

Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.

Support in special audits, fraud investigations, and risk assessments as required.

Stay updated on regulatory guidelines (e.g., RBI, SEBI, Basel norms) and internal audit best practices in the financial sector.

Collaborate with various departments to facilitate audit processes and improve control environments.

Contribute to the enhancement of audit procedures and the overall objectives of the internal audit function.

Qualification & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field .

2 to 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit within banks or financial institutions for different positions.

Professional certifications such as CIA, CA, ACCA, or CISA are highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.

Proficiency in audit tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and data analysis techniques.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and report-writing skills.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
