About the Role

Citrok is looking for a highly skilled
Senior Shopify & WordPress Team Lead
to join our growing team in Lahore. This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in hands-on development but also thrives in
leading teams and managing client communications
in the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers to deliver world-class Shopify and WordPress solutions.
  • Serve as the
    primary point of contact for clients
    , ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
  • Develop and customize
    responsive Shopify themes and WordPress websites
    from scratch.
  • Architect, optimize, and maintain
    high-performance eCommerce websites
    with strong SEO and scalability.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Oversee
    API, app, and plugin integrations
    for Shopify and WordPress platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, review code, and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
    as a Shopify/WordPress Developer, including
    2+ years in a leadership or team lead role
    .
  • Strong technical skills in
    Liquid, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
    .
  • Proven experience with
    Shopify APIs, custom app integrations, and WordPress plugins
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    eCommerce UX/UI best practices, conversion optimization, and SEO
    .
  • Strong communication skills for direct client interaction (requirement gathering, updates, and technical discussions).
  • Experience with
    Git/version control
    and agile workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    Shopify Plus and WordPress Multisite
    .
  • Expertise with
    WooCommerce integrations
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
    .
  • Strong English (spoken & written) for client calls and documentation.
  • Knowledge of
    WordPress REST API
    .
