About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and data-driven Business Development Representative to execute and manage our lead generation and sales automation efforts. This role is crucial for building a robust lead pipeline, streamlining sales processes, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurially minded professional with a focus on delivering tangible results
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Systematically research and gather high-potential leads using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Utilize advanced search filters to identify prospects who match our ideal customer profile based on industry, role, and location.
- CRM and Data Management: Maintain a meticulous log of all leads using a CRM platform such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM. Import and organize leads with appropriate tags for effective management.
- Email Campaign Management: Develop and execute multi-stage email campaigns to nurture leads. Craft personalized emails that address specific pain points and provide value. Monitor key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and replies to optimize content and improve performance.
- Sales and Marketing Automation: Use CRM tools to automate email sequences, follow-ups, and reminders. Automate workflows to add new connections to the CRM and streamline processes.
- Community and Social Media Engagement: Actively participate in relevant online communities on platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook Groups. Post engaging, value-driven content and engage with prospects to build trust and increase brand awareness.
- Freelancing Platform Outreach: Utilize platforms like Upwork to send personalized proposals to potential clients. Follow up on proposals and track responses to generate new leads.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor progress daily and weekly, tracking key metrics such as leads generated, conversion rates, and campaign performance. Analyze results and make adjustments to strategies as needed to optimize for better outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in lead generation and sales.
- Strong understanding of sales automation processes and tools.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on personalization and providing value.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools.
- Ability to analyze performance data and refine strategies for optimal results.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong ability to manage a cohesive, multi-channel strategy.
