We're now seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can strengthen our operations, drive alignment across departments, and ensure that our teams deliver excellence at every level. Role Overview The COO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, working directly with the CEO to execute WADIC's strategic vision. This role requires a seasoned professional with prior executive-level experience who can manage complex, multi-department operations across engineering, project management, sales, and administration. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, process-driven, and an exceptional communicator fluent in both English and Urdu.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and align daily operations across Engineering, PMO, QA, HR, and Administrative departments.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans with clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Define and track departmental KPIs to drive accountability, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape company strategy, culture, and organizational growth.
  • Streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency across teams based in Pakistan and the USA.
  • Lead performance management for departmental heads and champion leadership development initiatives.
  • Foster transparent and consistent communication between teams, clients, and executive stakeholders.
  • Maintain financial discipline through effective budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Uphold and promote WADIC's core values of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles, including at least 3 years at the executive level (COO, Director, VP, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional operations, ideally within software development or technology services.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in organizational scaling, process optimization, and financial oversight.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and Urdu, capable of engaging confidently with U.S. and Pakistan-based stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead decisively, inspire teams, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
