About the Role

Maximus Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our federal and state contracting operations by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of IT, office, and industrial supplies. The Purchaser will play a key part in sourcing from authorized distributors, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining compliance with procurement standards.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate qualified suppliers and distributors for government contract requirements.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure best value while ensuring compliance.

Prepare and process purchase orders aligned with company and contract specifications.

Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock gaps.

Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier performance logs, and cost analyses.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs for active bids and contracts.

Ensure adherence to company policies, FAR/TAA compliance, and procurement regulations.

Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to support ongoing government opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (government contracting exposure is a plus).

Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Ability to assess market trends, distributor pricing, and supplier performance.

Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with procurement/ERP tools is preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
