Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our finance team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and bookkeeping processes. The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of accounting principles and be willing to learn in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation.
  • Support in preparing invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Help with bank reconciliations and ledger postings.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Verify and cross-check expense reports and supporting documents.
  • Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of accounting documents.
  • Collaborate with the accounts team on daily tasks and month-end closing activities.
  • Perform any other finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in progress or recently completed in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
