The Role

We are looking for a Travel Desk Officer to manage end-to-end travel arrangements for employees at IDR. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can ensure cost-effective solutions, smooth travel experiences, and compliance with travel policies. The position also involves coordinating with vendors, supporting employees during travel, and assisting with corporate events or group travel when required.

Key Responsibilities
Travel Coordination and Management
Manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transport, and visa processing.
Coordinate with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and service providers for reservations and bookings.
Policy Compliance and Cost Optimization

Ensure compliance with travel policies while providing cost-effective options without compromising comfort and safety.
Record Keeping and Expense Management

Maintain accurate travel records, reports, and expense tracking.
Employee Support and Issue Resolution
Assist employees with itinerary planning and resolve travel-related issues or emergencies.
Regulatory Awareness and Industry Updates
Stay updated on travel restrictions, visa regulations, and tourism trends.
Event and Group Travel Support
Support in organizing corporate events, group travel, and quarterly team offsites when required.

Qualification and skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in travel desk operations, tourism services, or corporate travel management.
Other necessary skills:
Familiarity with travel booking systems and vendor coordination.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of visa application processes and documentation.
Prior experience working with corporate travel policies.
Ability to work under pressure and manage last-minute changes.

What Do We Offer?

Working Hours: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
