Responsibilities

  • Cost analysis and control:
     Monitor and analyze all production costs, identify cost variances, and develop strategies to reduce expenditures and improve efficiency.
  • Budgeting and forecasting:
     Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and ensure all costs align with financial goals.
  • Inventory management:
     Conduct regular audits of raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory to control costs, minimize waste, and prevent pilferage.
  • Financial reporting:
     Prepare accurate and detailed cost reports, variance analysis, and financial statements for management.
  • Procurement and supplier management:
     Review purchase orders and supplier invoices for accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
     Work with production, planning, and other departments to gather cost data, implement cost-saving measures, and improve overall performance.
  • Audits and compliance:
     Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience:

Proven experience in cost control, financial management, or a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial software and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
