operations, technology, data, and hospitality processes
to deliver a consistent guest experience at scale. As we expand, we're building a strong central operations team to drive rigor, governance, and efficiency across our network.

Role Overview

The
Assistant Operations Manager
ensures the
backbone of Lokal's operations runs smoothly
.

The role is responsible for:

  • Data sanctity & accuracy
    in our PMS and reports
  • Performance reporting
    for daily, weekly, and monthly operations
  • Process coordination
    between operations, customer service, revenue management, and partners
  • Vendor/partner coordination
    to ensure availability, schedule adherence, and billing accuracy
  • Central tracking of operational KPIs

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Analytics

  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly operations dashboards (occupancy, availability, SLA metrics, issues log).
  • Track unit readiness, check-in SLA adherence, guest issue resolution, and partner performance.
  • Prepare weekly performance packs for Operations Manager, including insights and trend analysis.
  • Support forecasting for inventory readiness during peak demand periods.

2. Data Integrity & PMS Governance

  • Ensure
    data accuracy
    across PMS systems — property status, bookings, blockages, cancellations, notes.
  • Audit data entry from customer service and operations teams to maintain a
    single source of truth
    .
  • Create and maintain data SOPs and templates for clean reporting.
  • Work with product team to report bugs, missing logic, or workflow gaps in the PMS.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the
    central coordination point
    between operations, customer service, revenue management, and finance.
  • Ensure operations actions align with revenue strategies (blocked units, discounts, stay extensions).
  • Communicate operational constraints to sales/customer service proactively.
  • Coordinate with finance to verify operational billing (cleaning, vendor invoices, maintenance).

4. Partner & Vendor Coordination

  • Maintain vendor schedules, city-wise capacity, escalation points, and SLAs.
  • Track performance of cleaning, laundry, and maintenance partners through a structured scoring system.
  • Support the Operations Manager in contract compliance, onboarding of new partners, and documentation.
  • Maintain centralized files for agreements, invoices, and reporting packs.

5. Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Draft and maintain SOPs for operational workflows (turnarounds, issue logging, status updates).
  • Document recurring operational issues and recommend solutions.
  • Standardize reporting formats and data sheets across cities.
  • Support training rollout for teams on updated tools/processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in
    operations, business analysis, project coordination, or hospitality administration
    .
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with PMS/CRM tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
