About The Organization:

We're looking for an accomplished UX/UI Designer for a global startup in Pakistan. This is a central role in a growing startup where you will be working directly at the forefront of AI & Robotics. The respective individual's contributions will directly shape the future while enabling you to experience a diverse international environment with teams spread across the USA, Norway, and Pakistan.

Role Overview:

This is a key role where you'll be instrumental in defining and driving the user experience strategy for our innovative products. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the creation of seamless and intuitive user journeys, leveraging 3D simulation and prompt-based modalities within the browser and real-world hardware interactions using cutting edge robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead user experience research with active feedback from industrial customers using cutting edge robotics.
  • Establish a governance system for how the UX team should function and sync with the product and operations team.
  • Lead the conceptualization, design and iteration of the platform to deliver an exceptional and innovative Robot Experience for a completely new industry.
  • Iterate the design based on user feedback and surveys from some of the largest robot manufacturing industries across the globe to refine designs and ensure they meet user needs effectively.
  • Actively collaborate with the development team based in San Francisco (USA), Trondheim (Norway) and Pakistan (Islamabad) to drive rapid prototyping and iterative improvements.
  • Structure the design and iteration process for the Robot Experience. You will be responsible for setting up the best practices of the team and will lead the efforts as the organizationcontinues to scale.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in robot-controlled environments and simulation patterns to create engaging and cutting-edge user experiences for the customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a design related field.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic, international team. The organization has a focus towards autonomy and believing the best people to work with have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, coupled with a drive to put their best work forward.
  • Proven 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design for SaaS platforms.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong aesthetic sense with an understanding of modern platforms.
  • An ability to keep things intuitive, so that people across the spectrum can understand the platform.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with 3D environments and 3D tools such as Blender or CAD tools will be a plus.
