Accounts & Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage daily reconciliation of credit card transactions, courier payments, and bank transfers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Develop, implement, and continuously improve efficient processes for vendor payment deposits, including reviewing invoices, approvals, and payment scheduling.
  3. Monitor, analyze, and optimize cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations and long-term strategic goals.
  4. Supervise financial operations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and smooth collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  5. Prepare, review, and present financial reports including profit and loss statements, cash flow projections, and budget variance analysis.
  6. Lead the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic financial plans, aligning them with company objectives.
  7. Drive process improvements, strengthen internal financial controls, and support system upgrades to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  8. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  9. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior finance team members to build capability and support professional growth.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity (e-commerce or retail sector experience is highly desirable).
  3. Hands-on experience with financial software and ERP systems; experience with Odoo is preferable.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  5. Proven ability to analyze trends, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to management.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  7. High attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
