Job Description:

We are looking for a competent and experienced Manager – Finance to oversee and lead our Finance & Accounts department. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in manufacturing finance operations, with a preference for those experienced in the Injection Molding Plastic Industry.

This role demands a professional with a thorough understanding of Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT) matters, their accurate compliance and timely payments, and the ability to manage all day-to-day accounting transactions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of day-to-day accounting transactions including general ledger, cash flow, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
  • Preparation and issuance of Sales Tax Invoices in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Ensure timely Sales Tax Return Filing and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Manage Income Tax and Withholding Tax (WHT) matters including calculations, deductions, payments, and monthly/annual filings.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely payment of tax liabilities to the relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain internal financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Lead and guide the finance team, ensuring professional growth and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in the manufacturing sector; preference will be given to those with Injection Molding Plastic Industry experience.
  • Strong command over Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT) regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise Supply Chain Team as and when required.

Salary/Package

  • Purely commensurate with experience and knowledge.
