About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and self-driven Supplements Specialist to lead the discovery, validation, and early development of new private-label supplement opportunities. This role extends beyond ideation; you'll own the process, from market research and compliance validation through sourcing handoff and early supplier negotiation. If you thrive on problem-solving, identifying gaps in the supplements category, and building real-world solutions based on customer needs and compliance standards, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:Product Discovery & Validation:

• Use Helium 10 to identify and validate high-potential dietary supplement opportunities in the U.S. Amazon Health & Wellness market.
• Analyze product data to assess demand, market saturation, keyword trends, review gaps, pricing tiers, and seasonality.
• Benchmark competitor formulations, dosage strengths, certifications (GMP, NSF, USP), and packaging formats.
• Conduct keyword clustering and volume analysis to support the positioning of supplement products.

Differentiation & Development:

• Propose 2–3 unique value addition ideas per supplement (e.g., formulation tweaks, bundling, packaging improvements) based on customer pain points and unmet needs.
• Draft product requirement documents and spec sheets (ingredients, dosage, compliance requirements).
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to collect initial quotes and verify manufacturing capabilities (FDA-registered, GMP-certified facilities).

Reporting & Ownership:

• Create clean, well-documented reports including recommendations, profitability snapshot, and Go/No-Go suggestion.
• Manage task progress through tools like ClickUp or Google Sheets, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Own the research lifecycle from idea validation to supplier onboarding.
• Follow internal SOPs and standardized research processes; independent or alternative systems outside the structure are not permitted.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of experience in product research or development for private label supplements (Amazon FBA or related).
• Mastery of Helium 10, Data Dive (especially Black Box, Xray, Cerebro, Financials, Keyword Research).
• High proficiency with Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data cleanups, lookups).
• Strong documentation habits and clear written communication.
• Ability to think critically and explain supplement product decisions based on customer demand and compliance.
• Familiarity with ClickUp, Notion, or similar tools for project tracking.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to support data structuring and internal productivity.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with FDA, DSHEA, and FTC regulations for supplements.
• Experience working with supplement sourcing teams or U.S.-based contract manufacturers.
• Understanding of formulation differentiation, bundling, and packaging strategies.
• Prior experience analyzing supplement-specific reports and keyword analytics.
