Job Title: Video Editor (Freelance / Full-Time)

Job Description:

We are seeking talented Video Editors to join our team either as freelancers or on a salary-based role. The ideal candidate must be creative, detail-oriented, and skilled in all aspects of video production—from raw footage editing to final polished output.

Responsibilities:

Edit videos for social media, marketing, branding, and client projects.

Add transitions, effects, sound design, and motion graphics.

Apply professional color correction and grading.

Sync audio, clean background noise, and adjust levels.

Insert captions, subtitles, overlays, and branding elements.

Work with different video formats and aspect ratios (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Ads, etc.).

Collaborate with the creative team for storyboarding and concepts.

Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality results consistently.

Required Skills:

Editing Software Proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.

Motion Graphics & Animation: Adobe After Effects, Canva, or similar tools.

Graphic Design Integration: Basic skills in Photoshop/Illustrator for thumbnails & overlays.

Audio Editing: Noise reduction, syncing, audio mixing (Audition or similar).

Color Correction & Grading: Ability to create cinematic and professional looks.

Storytelling: Strong sense of pacing, narrative flow, and visual communication.

Video Formats & Exporting: Knowledge of codecs, compression, and export settings.

Social Media Editing: Understanding trends, vertical/reels editing, short-form content.

Attention to Detail: Spotting errors, maintaining brand consistency.

Creativity & Innovation: Ability to make videos engaging and visually appealing.

Time Management: Handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

2D/3D animation experience.

Knowledge of typography and kinetic text animation.

Experience in live-action + motion graphics integration.

Photography and videography background.

Familiarity with YouTube SEO and social media content strategy.
