Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Certification QA Engineer with 5+ years in card payment certification and testing. The role involves leading certification efforts for POS systems, payment gateways, and acquiring platforms, ensuring compliance with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and other schemes. The candidate should have strong expertise in EMV, ISO8583, NFC/contactless payments, and hands-on experience with certification tools. This position requires excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide junior testers and support QA automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead certification testing for POS, payment gateways, and acquiring platforms.
  • Validate end-to-end transaction flows (auth, clearing, settlement) for Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.
  • Use EMV certification tools (UL Brand Test Tool, Savvi, ICCSim, etc.).
  • Liaise with card networks and certification bodies to manage test cycles.
  • Identify, report, and drive resolution of compliance issues and test defects.
  • Provide guidance to junior testers and support QA automation where applicable.
Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in card payment certification/testing.
  • Deep knowledge of EMV, ISO8583, NFC/contactless payments, and payment terminal flows.
  • Hands-on experience with certification tools and scheme certification processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
