Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts and Finance Executive to oversee and manage the company's accounting operations and financial planning activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience in preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT, GST, income tax).
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy.
  • Maintain internal controls and recommend improvements to ensure accuracy and security of financial data.
  • Supervise and support junior accounting staff and ensure timely task execution.
  • Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and manage working capital efficiently.
  • Support the finance team in implementing new systems, tools, or ERP upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA preferred).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
