Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan DCC Consultants Full time $40,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and post insurance payments, adjustments, and denials from Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA).
  • Reconcile deposits with payments received to ensure accurate account balancing.
  • Identify and report payment discrepancies, underpayments, and denials.
  • Work closely with the accounts receivable and billing teams to resolve posting errors and payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of payment transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in researching and resolving claim rejections and underpaid claims.
  • Communicate with insurance companies as needed to clarify payment-related inquiries.
  • Stay updated on insurance policies, payment methodologies, and industry regulations.


Requirements Work Experience:
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a medical billing department.
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a well reputed Institute
Skills:
  • Familiarity with insurance EOBs, ERAs, and claim processing.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and insurance guidelines.
