Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and scaling of the mental health integration program across designated clinics.
  • Support lay counsellors and clinic-based psychologists, ensuring adherence to program protocols and quality of care.
  • Coordinate and monitor training sessions, refresher workshops, and mentorship activities for mental health staff.
  • Oversee patient screening processes and ensure smooth, effective and efficient referral pathways are maintained within the clinics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection, entry, and analysis for monitoring program outcomes and impact.
  • Collaborate with the M&E team to ensure all indicators and reporting requirements are met. Facilitate the roll out and upkeep of mental health awareness activities, including management of video content on clinic TV screens.
  • Conduct regular visits to clinic sites to support field teams, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure quality implementation.
  • Build strong relationships with clinic staff, community stakeholders, and partner organisations.
  • Contribute to program documentation, reporting, and learning for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field with a mental health focus.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in program management, preferably in mental health or public health projects in low-income or marginalised communities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Karachi to various clinic sites.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience implementing task-shifting or lay counselling models.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising field teams and managing programs with multiple moving parts. Familiarity with M&E frameworks, tools, and data collection systems. Background in both direct mental health service provision and program oversight.
  • Experience working in or alongside primary health care systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65, Rs70,000.00 per month
