We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Developer from Pakistan with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and customizing Odoo applications, particularly in portal, website, and eCommerce modules. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building scalable and efficient ERP solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX, frontend, and DevOps, to deliver enterprise-grade features aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Odoo Development & Customization

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (v15–v18), especially in Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Website, and eCommerce.
  • Design and extend website and portal functionalities using Odoo's QWeb, controllers, and templating engine.
  • Create clean, reusable, and efficient Python code aligned with Odoo best practices.

Portal & Website Development

  • Customize and build dynamic UI components using Odoo's frontend tools (JS/XML).
  • Optimize portal usability and workflows tailored for eCommerce platforms.
  • Implement custom themes, templates, and front-facing views for an intuitive user experience.

System Integration & Optimization

  • Integrate third-party tools and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs, analytics).
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues in existing modules.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on deployments, updates, and performance monitoring.

Quality Assurance & Code Collaboration

  • Participate in code reviews, version control (Git), and documentation.
  • Write unit tests and perform rigorous debugging.
  • Coordinate with frontend and backend developers to ensure consistent delivery across modules.

Innovation & Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, community tools, and version releases.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and improvements in coding standards.
  • Explore automation and modular design for scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in 
    Odoo development
    , including website and eCommerce modules.
  • Strong command of Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo ORM.
  • Expertise in 
    QWeb templating
    , controller logic, and XML/JS customization.
  • Experience integrating 
    payment gateways
     and external APIs.
  • Sound knowledge of Git version control and collaborative workflows.
  • Understanding of software design patterns and modular architecture.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with 
    Odoo Enterprise
     and community contributions.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, caching, and asynchronous tasks.
  • Exposure to UI/UX collaboration and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks (for frontend tweaks).
