Medical Coder

Employment type: Full time

Timing: 5pm-2am (flexible)

Location: Karachi (Remote job initially, but will be shifted to on-site later)

Salary: Market competitive (depending on experience)

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in US healthcare coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and a good understanding of HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) coding.

Responsibilities:

• Review clinical documents and assign &valida AI given accurate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).

• Ensure coding compliance with US healthcare regulations and payer requirements.

• Perform HCC coding and risk adjustment documentation review.

• Work closely with billing and auditing teams to minimize claim denials and ensure coding accuracy.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year of medical coding experience in US healthcare.

• Knowledge of HCC coding is required.

• Certification (CPC, CCA, CCS, or equivalent) preferred.

• Strong understanding of coding guidelines, modifiers, and E/M levels.

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
