Role Overview:

The
Manager – Operations
will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational activities related to SMA (Separately Managed Accounts), investment advisory services, asset management, and fund administration. This role requires a strong understanding of investment operations, portfolio reconciliation, trade settlements, and performance reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise day-to-day SMA operations and related functions.
  • Oversee portfolio reconciliation, trade settlement, and accurate performance reporting.
  • Ensure timely processing and accurate record-keeping of client transactions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, finance, compliance, and client servicing teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, implement, and improve operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor operational risks and implement controls to safeguard assets.
  • Provide operational insights to support decision-making and business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide the operations team to achieve departmental objectives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of SMA structures, investment operations, and fund administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of reconciliation processes, settlements, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in SMA operations, investment advisory firms, asset management, or fund administration.
  • Prior experience in a managerial/supervisory role preferred.
