Role Description

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer
to join our team in Lahore. This full-time on-site position requires you to work from 6 PM to 2 AM.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver customized IT service management solutions. Your role will involve hands-on development, coding, debugging, and troubleshooting within the ServiceNow environment. Additionally, you will continuously collaborate with team members to ensure the best practices are followed in system development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Customize and extend ServiceNow functionalities to meet specific business requirements.
• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis sessions to define technical solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to design and deliver efficient ServiceNow solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications, ensuring high availability and system performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform debugging to optimize existing systems.
• Follow and apply best practices for ServiceNow development and maintain system security standards.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, tools, and updates.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in ServiceNow development, including knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and ServiceNow workflows.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation within the ServiceNow platform.
• Solid experience in back-end development, with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Passion for learning new technologies and a willingness to develop expertise in ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, GRC including Discovery, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification or other ServiceNow certifications.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Catalog.
• Knowledge of database management, API integration, and cloud services.
• Strong communication skills
  , both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
