A.M. Distributors is a renowned organization, that provides top-notch, high-end medical devices and supplies to ensure smooth operations of the hospitals and clinics operating in Pakistan. We operate all over Pakistan and are headquartered in Karachi.
Since 1992, we have made sure to never compromise on quality and safety standards; helping Pakistan to achieve the heights in the world's medical industry. We started off with the surgical dressings in Pakistan which were then followed by Surgical Sutures & Ligatures, Central Sterilized Supply Department (CSSD), Hemostats, along with Cover X Sterile, Disposable Drapes, and Gowns, our patented brand of surgical drapes and gowns.
A Senior Sales Manager is solely responsible for the region's progress in terms of Sales and Operations. The sales Manager's main role is to help keep our revenue engine running through their own skill and the leadership of a team of driven sales representatives. You have to act as a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or place sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force. Along with overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch. Your duties include hiring staff and heading the onboarding and staff training process, building rapport with customers and the community, and creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance to achieve the branch's financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
- Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives
- Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring, and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
- Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the customer base and extends the global reach
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee reports for budgets and financial reports
- Create plans and forecasts that are built to fit the future needs
- Work to grow business and customer acquisition
- Coordinate the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management
- Work closely with Marketing Team to understand the benefits and use of surgical devices as well as supporting workshops, training, and other related sessions
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven 8+ years experience as a Sales Manager preferably in the medical device industry, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area
- Understand market dynamics, the competition, and customer needs of the enterprise application development and delivery space
- Well-versed in sales and marketing, business development, supply chain, and sizable business revenue growth
- Proven track record of exemplary sales
- Knowledge of the Pakistan market
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, Senior Management, and the workforce
- Ability to handle issues including government, semi-government and private
- Structured way of working, Planning, and strong governance of outcome
- Ability to lead, build and organize a team along with providing motivation to grow
- High communication and presentation skills
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Fluency in English, Punjabi and Urdu
- Know-how of the medical device industry of Pakistan is a plus point
