Role Overview

We are looking for a People Experience and Operations Specialist who can elevate how we
engage, support, and enable our employees across their lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone
who loves building systems, experiences, and culture, and wants to be a key force behind a
joyful, productive, and inclusive workplace.

This role is not HRBP-focused — you will work alongside our existing HRBPs, but your focus
will be on employee experience, operational excellence, process automation, and people-centric
programming.

Key Responsibilities

 People Experience & Culture
  • Own and continuously improve the onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring they are smooth, inclusive, and culture-aligned.
  • Design and execute engagement initiatives, appreciation rituals, and people-first events (virtual and in-person).
  • Partner with leadership and HRBPs to design and drive employee listening strategies (e.g. surveys, pulse checks, feedback loops).
  • Build and implement LAAM's internal communications cadence, employee resource hubs, and feedback mechanisms.
 People Operations & Systems
  • Build and improve HR systems and documentation, ensuring scalability and clarity.
  • Maintain and improve our HRIS platform and employee data accuracy in coordination with the HRBPs.
  • Automate and streamline routine operational tasks (e.g., documentations, letters, compliance trackers).
  • Support in defining and implementing policies, templates, and process playbooks for consistent employee experience.
 People Analytics & Insights
  • Track key people metrics such as engagement scores, onboarding feedback, exit reasons, etc.
  • Translate data into insights, dashboards, and narratives to support People Function decisions.
  • Lead or support special projects, audits, or internal OKRs related to People Ops.
What We're Looking For
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, employee experience, or people programs roles (preferably in a fast-paced tech/startup environment).
  • Deep understanding of employee lifecycle and how to design meaningful experiences around it.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS, documentation systems (e.g., Notion, Google Workspace), and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication, program management, and internal coordination skills.
  • Passionate about culture-building, inclusivity, and creating joyful workplaces.
Nice to Have
  • Experience designing or running engagement or culture surveys.
  • Background in design thinking, internal branding, or employee communications.
  • Understanding of compliance documentation and audit readiness.
