Position Overview
:

We are looking for a
skilled and detail-oriented Accountant
with strong expertise in
taxation and financial management
to join our team at
Compilex Technologies
, a fast-growing product-based software house. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate tax filing, and maintaining compliance with Pakistan's tax laws and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements — balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage payables, receivables, expense tracking, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Monitor company budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to support operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and file
    monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns
    (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).
  • Handle
    FBR filings, E-filing, and SECP-related submissions
    accurately and timely.
  • Stay updated with changes in Pakistani tax laws and advise management on compliance.
  • Ensure proper deduction, documentation, and reporting of
    withholding taxes (WHT).
  • Manage tax challans, sales tax reconciliations, and input/output adjustments.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities when required.
  • Ensure compliance with labor and income tax regulations for employee compensation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, ACCA, CA Inter, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the IT or software industry.
  • Strong command over Pakistan's taxation system, including Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or ERP systems).
