About the Role:

We're looking for an
Assistant Accountant
to join our team and support daily financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting functions, reporting, and reconciliations, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
  • Oversee invoice processing, expense reports, and petty cash handling
  • Assist during internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments for smooth financial operations
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the Accounts Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems)
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with tax filings and payroll management
  • Familiarity with financial audits and compliance processes
  • Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
