The Position:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, career-oriented Technical Documentation Trainee with a passion for technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have business analyst mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills to support knowledge management, content development and product learning initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with product and accounting application teams to create, refine, standardize technical documentation and learning resources. This role offers an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of our industry and products, while directly contributing to enhancing the customer and internal learning experience. The position will be based at our Karachi office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding & Learning: Develop a strong understanding of company products, industry context and internal processes to build a strong foundation for documentation work. Understand the structure and purpose of the existing knowledge base and learning center.
  • Content Development & Documentation: Assist in reviewing, updating, and rebranding existing knowledge base articles and learning center materials. Draft, edit, and proofread technical content including video tutorials ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency with the guidelines. Support the creation of step-by-step guides, FAQs, and product-related documentation for internal and external users.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams: Collaborate with the Accounting Application team to develop and integrate content for General Ledger and Accounts Payable applications. Participate in cross-functional discussions to translate technical details into easy-to-understand user content.
  • Tool & Platform Support: Learn and support the implementation of the Whatfix & WalkMe tools to enhance interactive learning and onboarding experiences. Gain hands-on experience with documentation and content management tools used by the team.
  • Continuous Development: Seek feedback and incorporate revisions to improve writing quality and technical accuracy. Build skills in technical writing best practices, visual documentation, and structured content design.
  • Project Delivery – Deliver a role-based onboarding documentation project for internal teams (Developers, QA, Support) within the first 6 months.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaboration – Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to gather information and support documentation needs.
  • Detail Orientation – Strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and quality in all written and visual materials.
  • Adaptability – Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and industry-specific applications quickly.
  • Technical Aptitude – Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with content or knowledge base platforms. Ability to break down complex technical concepts and present them in simple, user-friendly terms.
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent skills or certifications in technical writing will also be considered. Open to fresh graduates with strong communication skills and an interest in technical writing.
