About the Role

We are seeking a Power BI Expert with 4 – 5 years of professional experience in data visualization, financial reporting, and analytics , particularly in Power BI and Hyperion Financial Reporting.

This position supports our North America operations, providing critical insights to guide strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is someone who can merge technical expertise with business understanding to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and technology, ensuring that business data is transformed into meaningful insights and interactive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Build reusable templates and scalable reporting frameworks to support multiple business units.
  • Create complex DAX measures and perform advanced Power Query transformations.

Financial & Management Reporting:

  • Develop Hyperion Financial Reports to support consolidated and departmental reporting.
  • Automate financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, Excel, SQL databases) into unified reporting systems.

Data Analysis & Insights:

  • Translate business requirements into effective analytical models and visualizations.
  • Provide actionable insights to support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor KPIs and develop performance dashboards to highlight business trends.

Data Governance & Quality:

  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all reporting layers.
  • Implement quality checks and validation mechanisms within reporting systems.
  • Support continuous improvement of data collection and reporting processes.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance data architecture and connectivity.
  • Present analytical findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and actionable format.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, financial reporting, or BI development.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Power BI Service).
  • Hands-on experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources and automating reports.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Shift Flexibility: Comfortable working in the North America shift (evening/night hours).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Power Automate or Power Apps for workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with Excel VBA, Python, or R for data analysis.
  • Understanding of financial statements and corporate reporting structures.
  • Exposure to ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
