Key Responsibilities

 Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

 Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and exploratory testing.

 Ensure software meets business requirements, usability, and performance standards.

 Identify, document, and track defects through issue-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

 Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve

issues.

 Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning.

 Provide test coverage analysis and ensure testing best practices are followed.

 Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on testing methodologies and practices.

 Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and documentation.

 Contribute to release readiness and ensure product stability.

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

 4+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on manual testing.

 Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

 Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

 Proficiency in using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

 Solid knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UAT, and exploratory

testing.

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 Ability to work independently and in a team, handling multiple projects.

 Attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Nice to Have

 Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

 Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

 Knowledge of SQL for database validation.

 Familiarity with automation basics (for collaboration with automation team).
