Overview:

We're looking for someone who 
lives and breathes short-form content

. You should already understand how clipping works, how to find viral moments, and how to repurpose long-form content into scroll-stopping clips for Reels and Shorts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and clip engaging moments from long-form video content (podcasts, interviews, streams, or videos).
  • Edit and format clips for 
    9:16
     vertical viewing with strong hooks, captions, and pacing.
  • Add captions, emojis, sound effects, and motion zooms to increase retention.
  • Optimize clips for each platform — tailoring style, hashtags, and tone for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Manage posting schedule and cross-platform consistency.
  • Analyze performance metrics and iterate based on what performs best.
  • Stay current on trends, meme formats, and viral editing styles.
  • Maintain brand consistency in tone, visuals, and on-screen text.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience running or editing for a 
    clipping page.
  • Deep understanding of short-form algorithm behavior and viral patterns.
  • Proficiency in editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Descript).
  • Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling for fast attention capture.
  • Ability to work independently, deliver quickly, and handle feedback loops.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AI captioning, automated clipping tools, and content scheduling apps.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previously grown or managed pages with 100k+ views or followers.
  • Experience editing podcast, interview, or streamer content.
  • Understanding of analytics and how to use insights to improve edits.
