Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Vendor Services, located in Karachi. The Assistant Manager - Vendor Services will be responsible for managing vendor relations, overseeing procurement processes, and handling contract negotiations and management. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing vendor performance, ensuring contract compliance, and facilitating effective communication between vendors and the company.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with existing vendors to ensure timely submission of complete and accurate product files.
- Source new products on a bi-monthly basis and prior to key events to meet evolving business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard at least 4 potential vendors each month, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure cost savings while maintaining thorough and organized documentation.
- Monitor, track, and report on the execution of vendor strategies and key performance metrics to support business objectives.
- Supervise and guide the Customer Service (CS) team, monitoring their performance and ensuring high service standards.
- Manage Shopify-related customer service issues and chargebacks, acting as a key liaison between CS, customers, and operations teams to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Ensure all vendor contracts are reviewed, aligned, and up-to-date in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee vendor payment processes, ensuring timely clearance of payments on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and update comprehensive vendor records and reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility through well-organized Excel files.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and operations teams to streamline vendor management processes and resolve any vendor-related issues promptly.
- Assist in developing and implementing vendor management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Procurement
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage vendor relationships
- 3-4 years of working experience with Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
