This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. The Sales Manager – Energy & Production will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, expanding the client base, and driving business growth in the southern region.
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aligned with management objectives.
- Target clients in Energy & Production (E&P), power plants, fertilizers, cement, automobile, and other relevant sectors requiring INE (Inspection of New Equipment) services.
- Ensure prequalification and registration with all potential clients in the region.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Establish and nurture connections with regulatory authorities and industry associations such as OGRA, PSQCA, PEC, etc., to support business development efforts.
- Maintain excellent social and professional contacts to enhance TUV Austria's reputation in the market.
Market Intelligence & Lead Generation
- Keep an updated list of potential clients and upcoming projects in the Lahore region and surrounding industrial areas.
- Proactively generate inquiries from potential clients and maintain accurate records with timely follow-ups.
- Conduct competitor analysis and share insights with management to improve strategies.
Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and submit professional proposals and tender documents tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams for pricing, planning, and execution of proposals.
Reporting & Accountability
- Submit daily visit plans and sales reports for accountability and performance review.
- Provide monthly sales presentations to management covering achievements, challenges, and proposed action plans.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly activity reports as per company-approved formats.
Business Development Activities
- Represent TUV Austria at industrial exhibitions, seminars, and networking events to generate leads and increase visibility.
- Target key industrial hubs in and around Karachi for expanding the client base.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and establish bidding procedures for contracts.
- Ensure CRM implementation for tracking leads, client interactions, and sales progress.
Team Development & Compliance
- Train and mentor assistants and junior staff in sales activities including client visits, proposal preparation, and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Address challenges proactively and discuss with line and senior managers as needed.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) industry, especially in QA/QC & inspection services.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales-related software and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
