Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer (Solar) located in the Lahore District. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, conducting sales activities, and communicating with customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions. The role includes promoting solar products and solutions, supporting project implementation, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients for residential, commercial, and industrial solar systems.
  • Conduct
    site assessments
    and prepare technical proposals with system sizing, layouts, and ROI.
  • Present system solutions to customers and address technical/financial queries.
  • Prepare quotations, tender documents, and techno-commercial submissions.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation to project handover.
  • Maintain CRM records, prepare weekly sales reports, and update management on pipeline status.
  • Stay updated on solar technologies, regulatory frameworks, and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Energy, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 1–3 years of experience in
    solar PV sales, design, or pre-sales engineering
    .
  • Strong understanding of solar components: modules, inverters, batteries, BOS, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD / PVsyst (preferred).
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and capable of meeting monthly targets.
