Role Overview
We're seeking a creative and technically skilled R&D Specialist with experience in developing consumer-ready food products from concept to commercialization. This role requires balancing flavor, nutritional value, and shelf stability while working with premium and performance-oriented ingredients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development projects, from ideation and prototyping to scaling for production.
- Formulate innovative recipes that meet nutritional targets while delivering exceptional taste and texture.
- Conduct trials to improve product stability, shelf life, and sensory appeal.
- Research and source high-quality raw materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on global trends in functional and performance-oriented foods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field.
- Proven experience in food R&D, preferably in snacks, health foods, or functional products.
- Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation science, and food processing.
- Ability to work hands-on in the lab and pilot plant settings.
