About the Role

We are seeking a results-oriented and highly skilled Network & System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructures. You will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, system security, and delivering high-level technical support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company-wide network infrastructure ensuring maximum uptime.
  • Administer and secure Windows Server & Linux environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Lead virtualization initiatives (VMware, Hyper-V) and optimize server utilization.
  • Support Office 365, backup & disaster recovery systems.
  • Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
  • Conduct regular security assessments, patching, and vulnerability management.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.
  • Document network/system configurations, processes, and policies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience as a Network/System Administrator.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server (2012–2022), Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RedHat).
  • Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Routing/Switching (Cisco/Juniper/Mikrotik).
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V.
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS (basic to intermediate).
  • Security: IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, firewall administration, security patching.
  • Tools: SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow).
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified)
  • Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator / Windows Server)
  • CompTIA Network+ / Security+
