Job description:

Oven n Grill is a vibrant and fast-paced dining destination committed to delivering quality food and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming dining experience.
• Accurately process customer orders and handle payments via cash, card, and digital methods using the POS system.
• Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding menu items, pricing, and ongoing promotions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of computers and POS systems.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Intermediate (Preferred)

Experience:

• as a cashier in a fast food restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)
