Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to manage the organization's day-to-day financial operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, double entries, ledger management, and financial reporting, along with proficiency in accounting systems such as Zoho Books. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure accuracy, maintain compliance, and support management through clear financial insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements and reports.
  • Record and classify all business transactions accurately.
  • Ensure proper documentation of financial records and filing systems.
  • Utilize Zoho Books and other accounting software for daily operations.
  • Participate in improving financial systems, controls, and workflows.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and payroll entries.
  • Assist management by providing financial analyses and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)
  • Ensure audit readiness and smooth execution of audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for transparency and audits

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

* ACCA/CMA will be preferred

* 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally including work with or at Top audit firm

* Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting platforms.

* In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit procedures

* Financial Audit Experience would be preferred

* Strong command of accounting software and tools (QuickBooks, Zoho, Excel, etc.)

* Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
