About the Role:

We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Lead Financial Analyst to join our global Corporate FP&A team. This role, based in Pakistan, is foundational to the success of our financial planning and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in financial data management and integrity, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the data that fuels our corporate analysis, corporate forecast, and decision-making analytics.

This is a hands-on role focused on the operational backbone of FP&A, including data cleansing, system updates, data verification, and preparation of data for our EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) platform, Pigment. You will work closely with data from various sources, including our NetSuite ERP, to maintain a single source of truth for financial reporting.

What You'll Do:

Data Integrity and Validation:

  • Perform routine data cleansing and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data.
  • Conduct manual reviews and reconciliations of data extracted from NetSuite and other source systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Execute data verification checks post-system updates or data loads to confirm data integrity.

System & Platform Management:

  • Prepare, format, and execute data uploads into our FP&A platform, Pigment, ensuring successful data mapping and integration.
  • Routinely update and refresh underlying data tables for corporate dashboards and financial reports in our BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data load errors or issues within Pigment and other connected systems.

Process & Reporting Support:

  • Support the monthly and quarterly financial close and reporting cycle by ensuring all foundational data is accurate and readily available.
  • Assist the global FP&A team with ad-hoc data pulls, consolidation, and formatting requests.
  • Document data management processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve data quality and automate manual data-handling tasks.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a financial analysis, data analysis, or corporate accounting role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc).
  • Hands-on experience working with an ERP system, with a strong preference for NetSuite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, global team environment and manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • Experience in using FP&A software tools, such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or similar tools.

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.

The applicant must be authorized to receive and access those commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations. It is Motive's policy to require that employees be authorized to receive access to Motive products and technology.
