Project Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring smooth coordination, timely updates, and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to support project execution and keep leadership well-informed of progress. This is a Hybrid position, offering flexibility to work both onsite and remotely.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Understanding & Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into well-structured documentation for the development team.
- Ensure all requirements are understood and agreed upon before development begins.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including requirement specifications, project plans, meeting notes, and progress reports.
- Maintain version control and ensure documentation is updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team.
- Coordinate with developers to track project progress, resolve blockers, and clarify requirements.
- Regularly communicate project updates to the management team, highlighting progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear action items and follow-ups.
- Track project status, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide accurate weekly and ad-hoc project status reports to management.
- Escalate issues or risks that may impact timelines or deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in software/IT projects.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technical project lifecycles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and team interactions.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or MS Project).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with technical documentation (SRS, user stories, wireframes).
- Basic knowledge of project financials and resource planning.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and consistent in providing timely project updates.
