Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient medical records and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure alignment of documentation with coding, billing, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to clarify clinical documentation, including making outbound calls as needed.
- Identify gaps in medical documentation and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with
fluency in English (spoken and written)
. - Comfortable making professional calls for documentation clarification.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field.
- Good communication skills and English proficiency
- Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare documentation standards.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical documentation or related healthcare role.
(Non Clinical role)
Preferred: MBBS, DPT, PharmD
Salary: 60k - 90k
Working days : Mon to Sat (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) Night shift
