Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Authorization Specialist, located in Lahore. The Authorization Specialist will be responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits, obtaining pre-authorizations, following up on pending authorizations, and ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented. Additional tasks include maintaining patient records, liaising with insurance companies, and supporting revenue cycle management efforts to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations
- Must have Bachelor Degree
- Excellent English Communication
- 2 Years of Experience required
- Proficiency in maintaining patient records and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical billing and revenue cycle management
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical billing software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field
