We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
QA Engineer
to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by creating and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to improve the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality standards are met.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings as part of the Agile development process.
  • Provide input on improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ensure applications comply with security, scalability, and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to think critically and spot potential issues before release.
