Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Student Career Counselor – UK Market to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling students aspiring to study in the UK, providing them with accurate guidance on admission processes, visa documentation, scholarship opportunities, and career pathways. The counselor will act as the first point of contact for students and play a key role in building their educational journey with Future Serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one counseling to students interested in studying in the UK.
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, programs, and scholarships.
• Guide students on admission requirements, documentation, financial planning, and timelines.
• Support students with English proficiency test guidance (IELTS, OIETC, LanguageCert, etc.) and interview preparation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK universities, courses, entry criteria, and visa regulations.
• Assist in preparing students for credibility interviews required by UK institutions and UKVI.
• Conduct career counseling sessions to align students' study choices with their long-term professional goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and institutional partners.
• Maintain accurate student records and manage the application lifecycle from inquiry to enrollment.
• Actively participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional events to attract and guide potential students.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to achieve monthly and annual student recruitment targets.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or Counseling (14 / 16 years of Education).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in student counseling, preferably for the UK market.
• Strong understanding of UK higher education systems, visa policies, and admission requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to counsel students with empathy and build trust with families.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) – additional languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Portals/CRM tools for student data management.
